Participant Rules and Terms
Volunteer Registry Rules For Participants

To help us do our job and make the Volunteer Registry work the best way possible for the community, we ask that those signing
up to join the Registry also follow a short list of guidelines:

1)  Participants must currently live in Wake County, North Carolina, or be willing to travel in or around Wake County to help the
community.

2)  Participants must agree to be honest and clear as possible about their personal limitations, availability, and interests so that
ME³ can find the volunteer opportunity best suited to them.

3)  Participants must agree to complete a yearly survey about their experiences. (This will help us analyze the effectiveness of the
Registry)

4)  By joining the Registry, participants agree to be called when an opportunity/need arises that fits their specifications, however:
   a. Participants can say ‘no’ to any opportunity they are asked to participate in at any time for any reason.
   b. Participants can set the terms for how often they are called – “Please call me any time”, “Please call only the event of natural
disasters”, “Please call no more than once a month”, etc.

5) Participants must read and agree to participation terms as stated on our
Registry Waiver. Participants under 18 must print
these waivers (printable version
here), have their parents or guardians sign them, and mail them to: ME³, P.O. Box 10683, Raleigh,
NC, 27605

Volunteer Registry Promises To Participants

ME³ will uphold a set of guidelines to protect the privacy and needs of Volunteer Registry participants:

1)  ME³ will invite all Volunteer Registry participants to take part in any Registry-related events/awards parties that participants can
choose to attend or not.

2)  Names and contact information in the Registry will not be given to anybody outside of ME³ unless the registrant expresses
permission.

3)  The specifications set by each registrant will be adhered to, to the fullest of our ability.

Thank you for your interest in the
Volunteer Registry. To sign up, please read the section entitled "How This Works" here, then
simply fill out the Registry enrollment form offered by an ME³ volunteer representative, or fill out the form online
here. With your
