ME³ Seeks "Veteran Volunteers" To Guide Others Through Volunteer Process July 2, 2008
ME³ is on the look out for experienced "veteran volunteers" - individuals experienced in volunteering for other causes and organizations - to serve as special Agents for the ME³ Communities In Action program.
These individuals, or "CIA Agents", are assigned new volunteers from the Communities In Action program and are responsible for guiding them through the volunteer process, from identifying the opportunities to help the local community that fit their skills, interests, and schedules best, through evaluating their service experience afterwards.
"We need more Agents to help guide our new volunteers so that each new volunteer can have timely, personalized contact with us," explains Amber Smith, Communities In Action Coordinator and ME³ President. "These Agents need to be outgoing, friendly, flexible, and have had volunteer experience before - so they know what new volunteers may be feeling and can best understand and guide them."
If you fit the bill, fill out an application to become a "CIA Agent" online, here. You will then be contacted by a coordinator with more information.
