ME³ Raises Funds In The 2008 Great Human Race February 4, 2008
ME³ is raising funds through the Great Human Race, a fundraiser for all Triangle area nonprofits hosted by the Volunteer Center of Durham, for its second year in a row this spring.
This year will mark the Volunteer Center of Durham's 13th anniversary of the walk-a-thon style fundraising event. According to the Volunteer Center of Durham, "when an agency joins the Great Human Race they not only join with their nonprofit partners in their own community, but they also join with agencies in other Human Races all across North America. In this way, the Great Human Race is not only a fundraiser, but a demonstration of community by nonprofit and public organizations all across our continent."
Board member and Treasurer Tom Zajkowski is heading up ME³'s fundraising efforts in this year's event. Those who wish to run or walk in the event on behalf of ME³ can find directions on how to register on the Great Human Race website.
Individuals who wish to benefit ME³ by making a contribution to sponsor ME³ walkers or runners can do so online through the Active Giving website, here.
